Day is following the track record of Cooper. Undefeated/great seasons going into The Game and Michigan has stopped them twice, Day is now 1-2, 2-2 if you give him the win as a fill in for Urban. Everyone in the team is his guy, they played soft for 2 years in a row and Michigan dominated the line all day long.

All I know, as a UM Grad, IT’S GREAT TO BE A MICHIGAN WOLVERINE!!!

Especially after the end of the first half. Did Ohio State quit playing because they thought they were going to win?

We attach narratives after the fact but sports is a lot of randomness. They didn't 'quit playing', Michigan just got going late. And the 2 long run touchdowns happened, not because OSU 'quit'. Play this game 10 times and each team probably wins 5.

Well obviously not as good as your coach who was on his way out the door had the Vikings hired him.

As much as I hate to admit it, since I feel USC is overrated, IF they beat Notre Dame and then beat Oregon, it would be hard to argue OSU deserved the last spot more.

Since the receiver who headbutted the Michigan player obviously missed the class on avoiding very stupid penalties, makes you wonder how many other classes he has missed. You would hope that student attending Ohio State would be smarter than that, especially in "The Game", but apparently not. Too bad an interviewer will not be able to ask him why he did that.

LSU and USC have the inside tack on the 4th spot. TCU could get tripped up.

I've had LSU ranked #6 in my rankings for a few weeks now. If they win out, I wouldn't feel it was unjustified if they got in over OSU. And like I said above, same goes for USC. I'd suspect USC to get pummeled in the cfp, but LSU could give whoever a good game.

TCU usually wins close games, so they could trip up in the CCG, and if they do, that is probably OSU's best chance of sneaking in. Had they only lost to Michigan by like 3 pts, that would have helped.
