There is a big difference between someone like Fran or Dan Marino who had monster numbers and Romo who hardly ever wan a playoff game.

You just said that championships don't matter when evaluating a QB.

Flip flop ya don't stop.

Really want to talk about playoff success when you are putting Tarkenton out there? Didn't he throw almost twice as many INT's in the playoffs as TD's? He's the direct reason they lost their playoff games, as opposed to Romo at QB. Romo's losses are due to crap like being a poor holder, Crayton having stone hands, and the NFL not knowing what a catch is.

Speaking of Prescott

In the 2nd half (all 3 games combined), Dak is 29-32 in pass completion.

Hmmmm, that's pretty good, right?

I heard he has yet to throw an incomplete pass in the 3rd quarter. Perfect passer rating, or something like that.

Not with a slick ball you can't and that has nothing.......NOTHING to do with his QB abilities.

Oh, so now we're blaming a slick ball. Good thing no other holder has to deal with that.

Actually they haven't because they changed the rule after that play because they knew it was an issue. Doesn't absolve Romo from blame of course, but it is the truth...

I never said that Championships don't matter. I simply said that it's not the most important stat in evaluating the greatest of any given sport.

So not championships, but apparently playoffs are? Not following you here.

Point taken.

I still think Fran was a much better QB than Romo

No one stat alone should make you the greatest player or even a great player.

Jordan isn't the greatest player because he has the most championships or scored because he doesn't.

What makes players great is a number of stats together. Fran was in the top ten in many QB categories even though he never won a super bowl.

And being from different era's thats a valid opinion. Fran played in two or three SB's, so he has that going for him. I could make a case, though it wouldn't be super easy but possible, that Fran is more like a different Cowboy QB...Danny White.

Not horrible for Sunday night @NO and against constant pressure but he needs to be better. There were plays he could have made that he didn't. The sack he took at the end was as stupid as the sack Bridgewater took right before it. You have to get the ball out quickly or throw it away when you are starting at your own 10ish with no TOs and not much time on the clock because your HC still to this day doesn't understand time management. Not a great night for Dak, but again, not like he played horribly. A couple of big fumbles (one obviously really wasn't but that's the NFL nowadays so can't make an excuse) that killed drives and the momentum were bigger problems for the Offense and ultimately the team last night. Also NO controlled the ball and minimized the number of drives Dallas had. 3-1. I'll take it and move on to GB
