If I were you, I'd be happy (especially in the circumstances). He fills a need more than a lot of the other names on the market.

Ya maybe I looked at it wrong. I would not mind Seguin getting some pointers off Jagr either.

If I'm a Bruins fan (and I like the Bruins), I'd be happy about the Jagr pickup. He can make a difference on the PP and still has the ability to pot a goal at a crucial time (nice shootout option for the remainder of the regular season as well).

So I'm rooting for the team buses to collide on their way to the arena for the April 19th game. No major injuries but a lot of sprains and psychological trauma. So every time somebody gets hit they immediately tense up and skate to the bench. While on the bench they start crying and thinking about the crash. The remaining guys have trouble with accuracy trying to shake their sprained wrists.

As a result the teams have to hire shrinks to travel with the team, but those guys have "business associates" in Singapore and China and start fixing games. Then the Feds get involved and a bunch of important players and front office personnel get taken into custody and the league is forced to hit them with salary cap restrictions and loss of draft picks. Both franchises become non contenders for the next few years.

Also, Kovy gets healthy and the Devils win it all. That's what I'm hoping for.

I would have sent Ebbett down instead of Schroeder.

yah ... maybe they want Schroeder to have some playing time on the same line with Kassian though

Ebbett will be gone soon enough with Kesler coming back

DAL will receive prospects Lane MacDermid and Cody Payne (Plymouth) as part of the Jagr trade with BOS.

Boston's offer to Calgary for Iggy was better than the prospects Dallas received - Iggy chose Pittsburgh, not much Feaster could do with his hands tied.

Care to share some details?

Now it's official. Jagr is a Bruin. DAL gets MacDermid, Payne and conditional 2nd round pick.

Damn, here I thought the Sabres just traded Drew Stafford, but it turns out that the Oilers have traded Dane Byers to the Capitals in return for Garrett Stafford.
