In this case, being a bit late (for true confirmation ) may be a good thing.

Maybe Feaster should have waited longer, but things had probably dragged on long enough, Iggy is a rental, and was down to one team and one team only. It's done and put to bed.

Iggy controlling the situation made the price lower. Jagr is probably "worth" a similar amount stats wise, but the situation called for more for Iggy. That's the way the market goes though. Teams are more desperate (ie Boston) now.

I am pissed that Chia actually believes this is a good move. Sure Jagr can still pot a few here and there but between the Habs, Pens and others we are a slow ass team. We just got slower.
