Call me crazy but I think he'd work on the Sens. The Cap space isn't an issue for them and he'd be less in the spotlight with Karlsson back next year. A top four of:

Methot-Karlsson
Cowen-Bouwmeester

looks pretty solid to me.

Bishop for Jay-Bo (Flames eat a little salary)?

Bishop plus the Sens 2013 1st rounder (and eating some salary) would work for me.

Whatever happens, Feaster/Weisbrod will bring back a player whose last name ends with "ski"

Ed Jovanovski is packing his bags. But I'd rather have one of

Joe Pavelski
Mikhail Grabovski
Lauri Korpikoski
James Wisniewski

No chance would I add a 1st, but who knows what an actual GM would do.

Lindback and Varlamov are pretty good comparisons to Bishop and I'd suspect that he'll fetch somewhere in between what they brought back this offseason. A late first or a couple of 2nd rounders would be my bet.

At his salary Jay-Bo's value is in that same range, IMO.

Could JayBo be enough to pull someone like Jaden Schwartz away from the Blues? Or maybe we need to spice up the Flames with some Wings and Tatar sauce.

/Do I think Feaster will find a way to mess it up? Oh you'd better believe it.

Darren Dreger of TSN was just on the NHL Network and mentioned, as has Bob McKenzie in the past, the Wings would be very interested in Jay Bouwmeester of the Calgary Flames.

He also mentioned the Flames may want one of Detroit's young goalies and mentoned the names of Petr Mrazek and Jake Paterson.

Why would the Flames need a goalie unless Kipper is on the move/retiring?

Don't know if this was posted yet, but the latest rumor out of Buffalo, is that the Sabres are in talks with Tampa Bay to trade Miller.

I also heard that the Blues and Jackets have also been talking with the Sabres in the past few days.

It makes sense. Lindback has been lackluster to say the least & St. Louis just sent Elliott to the minors for conditioning. Both teams need help in goal.

Anything you would want from any of those teams?

On behalf of all teams looking to be buyers of rental players I'd just like to thank Jay Feaster for keeping the market price down.

The Iginla deal will have zero impact on other trades. Iggy chose the Penguins. He wouldn't go anywhere else. Feaster had zero leverage.

Yep, and I think the Sabres should jump at the chance to take advantage of it. Miller is doing nothing but rotting in Buffalo, and I don't see that changing any time soon.

A sammich would be nice.

But seriously, I would take any prospects or draft picks right now to help rebuild this team.

I wonder if the Bolts would be willing to part with Conacher? After all, he did go to Canisius for a few years.
