Calgary seem to have a hard-on for NCAA players - I don't know if we can land him, but it would be nice to snatch him away from Edmonton.

Mentioned this in the Iggy thread: St.Louis/Boston rumors swirling now. That'd be a much more expensive move, AND they'd have some cap issues next year I'd assume.

I think JayBo will be next to go - Not sure if it will be Detroit, but it well could be.

It depends on which or how many defenseman Detroit wants. The Isles are still talking to Streit & Visnovsky's agents. If no deal can be reached both will probably be on the block.

So which defenseman do teams want? JayBo, Regehr, Leopold, Streit, Visnovsky. Of course if San Jose is really serious about trading Dan Boyle then he would definately be the #1 guy available. Of course he'd cost the most to acquire as well. Apparently the Rangers want Boyle in a bad way.

Call me crazy but I think he'd work on the Sens. The Cap space isn't an issue for them and he'd be less in the spotlight with Karlsson back next year. A top four of:

Methot-Karlsson
Cowen-Bouwmeester

looks pretty solid to me.

Bishop for Jay-Bo (Flames eat a little salary)?
