With a deep draft this year, it's time to get some draft picks. If Feaster does nothing or even worse tries to bolster the lineup, I'm gonna lose it.

I hate to say it but the time for it was 2-3 years ago. That way they could have kept Jarome and maybe re-tooled for him to have a couple of years of contention at the end of his career. Bloody stubborn bunch.

It would be nice to see the Flames playing well again. Or at the very least going with youth and playing exciting hockey.

You said it, Kenny. As I said earlier, I'll only be angry if Feaster doesn't realize that big changes are needed and he needs to move guys and acquire picks/prospects.

Feaster may be on thin ice. If he doesn't do something and they miss the playoffs and he doesn't move some salary for picks, he may be canned before the draft.

If that happens, I think it's time to give Doug Risebrough another ride in the saddle. I'm sure Don Cherry agrees with me on this...

You know...I know the whole thing about Iggy needing a big return is to "justify the move to the fanbase", but I just can't see too many GMs (namely Boston/Pittsburgh) giving in because of that. I'm pretty convinced that whomever he ends up with (unless it's still Calgary) will not be the team he's with next year. He's not just a rental, but it's a shorter rental than normal. Rentals are dangerous this year in general. 10 regular season games is such a small sample.
