And a resounding "meh" goes up from the crowd.

I guess Kubalik will become the poster boy for the old way. Tons of talent, a lot of whining, and a lack of results. He could have, maybe SHOULD have, made the NHL roster this year. But he came to camp out of shape and apparently asked for a trade when dropped to the AHL. Guess he was pissed at guys like Calvert, Atkinson, and Drazenovic making their way up.

His play has fallen off dramatically since his hot start. I love Clarkson but I'd be cautious with him. His style of play leads me to believe his body will start to fail him once he hits 30. Never misses the oppurtunity to make a hit, takes plenty of hits, fights, is willing to get in front of the net and take the punishment that comes along with it.

Will he hit 30 goals again? I doubt it, but he could be a 20 goal guy for sure. I hope he comes back to the Devils and takes a hometown discount.

i think he could get more than simmonds.. simmonds signed before last year's good season, and he was RFA at the time.. i think clarkson will need a riot squad to keep people from banging down his door this summer

(keep in mind i also fully expect the top tier FAs to continue getting paid out the ass, even with the cap reduction and teh owner's 'focus' on spending less on players)

Get some help for the AHL club which has been playing a largely ECHL lineup while third liners like Dziurzynski have been playing with the big club.

Sens got fleeced on this one unless he is considered an "asset" under the stockpile as many assets as possible theory.

This didn't even make Risebrough's greatest hits volume I; definitely a solid contender for volume II however.
