Just read a HORRIBLY written article about this:

Texas vs. Texas A&M rivalry game could be revived pending student vote

No details about what their plan is, any Texas fans know? My questions:
1) What authority would they have to reinstate it?
2) Are they working with their A&M counterpart?
3) Do they realize they would have to book this out in like 2025?

I fully support bringing it back, but that article has no details. Let's MTGA (make thanksgiving great again) by bringing back this great rivalry.

It's a disservice to CFB that this game and Oklahoma/Nebraska are no longer played.

Gotta do it. I don't even care how bad our season is if we take down FreeShoesU. That's what CFB is all about.

Figures. Some gratitude.

The FSU Boosters went to great extent and financial cost to give Corch Mac and the UF
offense a tour of a place they haven't visited and here you go and type that. Shame on You.

It was in the middle of July that we financed their trip to Tally and we not only paid for
the travel, lodging and meals, but also gave them an hour long tour of the FSU End Zone.
Just so they could say..."We've been there!"

Yeah, sure...thanks.

I gotta find an updated graphic. Congrats on only being 10 wins behind now.

Oh, and where's my GDed pizza?!

The kids there may not know about it, but the people who were around for the last time the game was played will continue to move up in the corporate world and become larger sponsors/alumni.

The only way to get things done is with money, and the alumni will be the money that gets it done. Probably will take A&M and Texas both being bowl eligible and meeting in the Liberty or Texas bowl to show what ratings, talk, and dollars could be made with an OOC matchup. Just don't let Jerry or anyone get it, make it a home and home!

Congrats on your play in the 50's and 60's when we were less than 20 years
old as a university.

btw your chart is 4 years old. The series record is 34-25-2. (UF). In 1986
you led the series 22-6-1. Doing the math for you...In the last 30 years
the series record is 19-12-1 (FSU).

Did you know that in 1960 you could buy a bottle of coke for a dime and a burger
for a quarter? (30 cents with cheese). Those days are gone forever...eh?

I can still buy an FSU diploma for a dime...can't sell it though.

Listen, I understand the problem. I have a bunch of close friends that are Gates.
Last Year one of them gave me two tickets to a Gate game. Well, you guys are
only like an hour and a half away, so I took 'em and decided I would drive up
and cheer for whomever you were playing.

Well, After I picked up the tickets, I had to stop at the store on the way home.
I go inside and after around 10 minutes in the store I remembered that I had left
my window down, the door unlocked and those two Gate tickets laying up on
the dash in plain sight.

I trembled and dashed outside. And just as I had feared, when I got to
the vehicle, there were four Gate tickets laying on the dash.
