"Great fans" don't throw cell phones at players. They don't urinate and spit on families. They don't instigate fights with the opposing team. Oakland is an absolute toilet and its trashy fans are the most uncivil in the game. I've had the misfortune of attending a game there, not as a Rangers fan but as a neutral observer at a Giants-A's game, and the actions and language of the fans there was downright disgraceful.

I've heard attending Raiders games are dangerous to your health....really rough fans....

Yep. Oakland is so hostile and almost un-human that the Cowboys recently canceled all travel packages that they offer to their fans for all away games for games in Oakland because of the downright unimaginable treatment they received there. You can be passionate and even somewhat rude toward opposing fans, but there is a line of reasonable human behavior that Oakland fans cross more than anyone else.
