I actually think they have great fans but they've been nut kicked by management for a long time so it was understandable why they were like that. I do think their fan base is passionate tho.

"Great fans" don't throw cell phones at players. They don't urinate and spit on families. They don't instigate fights with the opposing team. Oakland is an absolute toilet and its trashy fans are the most uncivil in the game. I've had the misfortune of attending a game there, not as a Rangers fan but as a neutral observer at a Giants-A's game, and the actions and language of the fans there was downright disgraceful.
