I am not worried about Leiter, but I sure hope they get Bradford and Eovaldi back soon so Leiter can go back to AAA. He needs to do well all year there.

Again, I have no hopes for anything significant from Scherzer this season. I questioned them choosing him to acquire last year and even I didn't think he would be hurt this often.

I just hope both Mahle and deGrom make successful returns this year, because Sherezer is just about a lost cause.

I wouldn't be surprised if CY pulls off trades for pitching help, sooner rather than later. Those needs are a lot more of an issue than a RH platoon DH was, a couple of days ago

Between Scherzer and Verlander I wanted Verlander because I felt he would give us some quality starts. But as a person I like Scherzer. He sure is eating up a lot of our salary.

Most of his salary is being paid by the Mets. 30 million thru 2024.
