Besides a few hitters, their approach at the plate has been basically dreadful for longer than I can remember this season

A batting coach would point this out, they aren't listening

That is the question. Are the hitters ignoring him or is he not pointing it out? None of us really know at this point.

9 pitches so far this inning. A dominant offensive performance.

appears to be the million dollar question
I think he's gone.

He better be or Texas will not see one more red cent of my money until they do.

Ben, this is one poster you want to ignore. Regardless of if you think you agree with him.

That could be true Romeo but there's no denying that the Ranger hitters are extremely undisciplined at the plate and honestly when you do a side by side comparison of the Rangers and A's, plate discipline jumps out as the glaring difference.

Don't get me wrong, patience doesn't necessarily translate into a bunch of walks but it could mean AJP seeing a 3-1 fastball to hit instead of whatever junk they throw him on the first pitch knowing he's swinging. Patience equals better pitches to hit and a few more walks.

No argument there. I'm just letting you know its best to ignore jaar no matter what.

I guess I don't know for sure, but it's almost impossible for believe he's not on them about this horrid approach.
He'll be fired, but I have doubts whether this is his fault

I think Magadan is drinking the Wash Kool-aid of "letting the players play and not over managing/coaching them.

No thanks.

I'm not sure what he could do without those high payrolls he is given every year

Very little. The offense is not nearly what he's been given his entire tenure this year. I said a long time ago that we'd see how good wash really is when he doesn't have an entire team of all starts in his lineup card. Guess I got my answer. If they don't fire him they won't be seeing anymore of my money till they do.

Pretty much sums up my feelings.
