Been saying that since June about Magadan and getting crushed for it on these boards. I know hitters are ultimately responsible for what happens in the box but its obvious that Magadan does not teach not insist on grinding out quality AB's. The reason the A's are walking away with the division is that they are awesome at grinding out AB's and forcing pitchers to throw pitches over the plate that can be hit.
