Former WS Champs. Hope this updates in 2025
We have a glut of catchers but yes primarilyPersonally I think this offseason should focus on FA signings primarily.

I feel that way too, but I am not sure that the front office agrees with us or not. Let's get this postseason over with and find out.Personally I think this offseason should focus on FA signings primarily.
i think so too. we sign at max 3 above average, mainly 1st tier, FA's and go with our kids and prospects this next season. IOW, 23 of our people. trading those who are going to slow down advancement of our top prospects like Calhoun, Guzman, IKF and possibly Trevino this off-season. and then as the season progresses maybe others like Solak, etc. by the end of the season we will have a clearer view who deserves a spot as we continue and who doesn'tPersonally I think this offseason should focus on FA signings primarily.

Yes, when it comes to acquiring free agents, I think they agree with us. I meant, I am not sure they agree about holding off on significant trades for now.I mean, they have already come out and said "we are going to be active in the FA market." Whether they succeed or not is another story, but publicly they have acknowledged the importance at least.

i wish they would. i can name 3 or 4 we should consider trading during the off-season but that doesn't include any of our top 30 prospects. but we know our FO so i wouldn't be surprised to see them trade away 5 or 6 of them for questionable returns that won't turn out to be worth itYes, when it comes to acquiring free agents, I think they agree with us. nah, the Yankees will immediately go after Correra and price everyone else out of the biddingCorey Seager is going to the Yankees eh

Thinking Detroit and Miami are in the market.Yankees fans seems to want Seager, but the FO almost assuredly wants Correa.
My gut tells me:
Correa - Yanks
Story - Rangers
Seager - some team looking to make a splash
Thinking Detroit and Miami are in the market.
St Louis and Phillies too
Baez and Semien are available at SS as well as the big three that everyone mentions. Not every club looking for a SS will be after one of the top 3.
Some team might be willing to trade for IKF after all of the free agents dust has settled.

IKF is a good ball player. 4.5 bWAR.
He does a lot of things right. I sometimes wonder if it’s worth up grading at SS.
I do prefer a 25-30 HR high OBP guy over a low power low OBP guy.
Looking at WAR can make you wonder sometimes
