Kelleyman
Former WS Champs. Hope this updates in 2025
He has never been a curse to us.
Just a joke re Bregman slam
He has never been a curse to us.
Chirinos with 2nd HR. Wish we had him but he is getting too old for our future catcher
Makes no sense as to why they didn't pick up his option and then brought in Mathis, that's the offseason move that puzzled me the most
I blame Wash for that. lolJust a joke re Bregman slam

He couldn't even be a quitter the right wsy.
Which guys did they not play that they should have?Hmmm ...nice take but.......regardless that was a time when development of young players was more important than eeking out an extra win.
They were winning with lineups like this:Which guys did they not play that they should have?
They were losing with the same guys they started winning with. The difference was the manager.
They were winning with lineups like this:
Leonys Martin CF
2 Elvis Andrus SS
3 Adam Rosales 1B
4 Adrian Beltre 3B
5 Jake Smolinski DH
6 Robinson Chirinos C
7 Ryan Rua LF
8 Rougned Odor 2B
9 Daniel Robertson RF
Lisalverto Bonilla P
Like getting rid of Choo and Odor but pass on PriceThe moves Chaim Bloom should consider to navigate difficult Red Sox road
So, for example, could Boston trade Price to Texas for Shin-Soo Choo ($21 million for 2020) and Rougned Odor (three years, $36 million left)? Boston would save $4 million toward the 2020 tax, get a one-year DH stopgap for Martinez in Choo and take on a distressed contract in Odor to balance some of the money and he can play second. Price, if healthy, fits with Lance Lynn and Mike Minor to provide a strong rotation top three to open a new stadium in Texas.
If we did that deal I would want Biston to pay part of his salary in 2021 and 2022.Like getting rid of Choo and Odor but pass on Price
They would probably expect us to pay part of Odor's salary in 2020, 2021 & 2022 & the buyout on 2023If we did that deal I would want Biston to pay part of his salary in 2021 and 2022.

I want them gone too I just don't see Price as being useableid do the deal just to free up those positions. Choo and odor are blocking people right now.
I doubt they wouldn't ask that. I think we could get the deal done with them throwing in $7-10 million in each of the last two years of his contract. Someone might have to fork over a million or so to convince Choo to waive his rights to veto a trade though. They would probably expect us to pay part of Odor's salary in 2020, 2021 & 2022 & the buyout on 2023
Still think that under the right form of coercion Choo would be willing to leaveI doubt they wouldn't ask that. If he is healthy he is usable. Before getting hurt his ERA looked very good.I want them gone too I just don't see Price as being useable
The health issue is what worries me. He only appeared in 22 games in 2019If he is healthy he is usable. Before getting hurt his ERA looked very good.
That is why I would insist on a physical. The health issue is what worries me. He only appeared in 22 games in 2019
