is it me or did the rangers just get away with 2 blatant hooks that took away penguins chances?

Nice awareness Perron you mean you didn't see the guy 10 feet offside.

Both their goals were on the same shift as missed calls. Lappierre was on a semi-break and they let a hook go. Also, Lundqvist with one of the most embarrassing dives I've seen.

That dive was so bad they should have given him 2 just for being so blatant.

Staal is incensed...and I don't blame them, since when can't Marc Staal get away with assaulting someone in front of the net?

I would rather watch paint dry than watch Malkin right now. He is pressing way too much.

He's no where near 100%. He came back to early following the injury (groin I think?), but was playing through some of it knowing they needed to push to get into the playoffs. And now it's the playoffs and he's pushing through.

Letang out must hurt quite a bit

He runs the PP, plays about 28+mins a game, was a Norris candidate for a lot of the year...yeah, it hurts badly. I spent the few days leading up to the playoffs thinking about "what could be" on defense. Letang-Martin, Ehrhoff-Maatta, Pouliot-Cole, with Scuds and Lovejoy riding the pine. And Dumolin and Chorney in WBS.

Also, I think I'm more motivated for the Pens to win this series because the Rangers are horribly boring to watch. There's been some exciting series, this one doesn't fit that mold.

Plus the flow factor but i catch your drift. Feel stoopid now for laying 250 on the Penguins. That second goal was fluky, reminded my of my days of gtender when one went of the boards right to the guy. If you're aggressive not much you can do about it. Im glad Fluery is playing better tho. Those Philly playoff games could be real brutal for the guy.

Has Kreider taken out a goalie yet? If not, he's well past due.

MAF hasn't really been the issue in a long time. Occasional hiccup game or goal, but he's solid. Only one goal in this series I'd put on him, and it was the first one of the series. Juicy rebound. He then proceeded to keep the team in the game. He was solid in the third last game too. Tonight no different really. A bounce off the boards and a bad line change.
