I went a bit over the top. Ther water heater cooler was an extra $6000. I bought the absolute best Pentair filter and salt water converter. Both are controlled on my phone.

Cheapest pool 12 x 24 was $60,000. Doing what I did with better tile and pool surface and the better mechanics was an added expense, but now that it's paid off, well worth it.

Bring the wife and come on down.

Welcome back.
I have been single-handedly keeping the Fins board alive for you for the last 6 months.
You guys must be ecited about your team!
Yea, I'll post there as season gets closer. The season will go as Tua goes. Pats should be improved this year.

Joke aside, it does seem like you created a piece full space. The salt water system far beats chlorine and the salinity is barely noticeable.
Also have to figure a lot of the cost is mobilization and soil conditions for excavation and the like. Once onsite it doesn't take much longer to dig a 25' long hole than it does a 20' long hole. Same with shooting gunite. Once the equipment is setup and the crew is spraying, 20 X 25 isn't much different than 10 X 15. A smaller area to work with may actually crank up the price if there are many obstacles to operate equipment around as it increases the time involved.

It's a 90% manual labor job. The final hole is shoveled out by hand. The smoothing of the shell is by hand while being sprayed. Leveling and angling the concrete around the pool is done by hand following a laser. The tile and pool surface is all done by hand after the cage is assembled in place, by manual labor. Every one of those guys is an expert at what he does.

Needless to say, there are those that think the schedule is a big soft pillow. There are those that think that pillow is full of venomous snakes.

The anti-side sees the start a perilous 1-4 and the end at 6-11 giving the Patriots a 2026 Draft position of somewhere between 6 and 11.

The over excited side sees a 12-5 season and an AFCCG in late January, possibly a Super Bowl in February 2026.

So........................take the 6 and 12, add them and divide by 2 and the season will be 9-8 with a possible Wild Card game against whoever is #2. Remember, #1 gets a bye.

Like I said previously. If this team buys into the Vrabel Program, the offense of Josh McDaniels isn't over complicated and the defense is as good as it appears here in May, This team can easily be 11-6. If these guys can't grasp the program or the system, they're doomed to repeat 2023 and 2024.

So much of your teams and my teams success or failure this season will be based on the QB position and whether they show growth or fall backwards a bit. Both of our teams look like they have good defenses, decent schedules, and a good HC in place. So just comes down to can Maye show he is in the convo for a top-10 QB. I think beyond the top-4 or 5 guys the next grouping of QB's is wide open. Allen, Jackson, Burrow, Mahomes are the unquestioned top-4 right now. I'm honestly not sure who I would put in that 5th spot. Herbert, Daniels, and Hurts would all be battling for it right now in my opinion. Not sure who else I would add.

Stafford? Stroud? Mayfield?

It seems to drop off fast.

Stafford seems to have been on a downhill trend for his career. 3-years ago I would agree. Right now though I'm having trouble even putting him top-10.

CJ Stroud took a huge step back this past season. Now some of that is his OL was downright terrible and a bunch of his weapons got hurt, but still hard to ignore when he looked closer to a bottom-10 QB than a top-10 QB this past season. Mayfield is the one I would add to the list that I had above. I don't think it is crazy to say he was one of the 5 best QB's in football this past season. And that is with his top-2 receivers missing significant time. So can't just say he has a lot of talent around him. Honestly I might put Mayfield in that 5th spot.

And this is why I don't think it is crazy to think guys like Maye or Nix could easily find themselves in top-10 QB discussion this year. The position is down compared to years past with teams playing so much Cover-2, 4, 6 type looks and eliminating any big plays down the field.

Yes, it's easier to say who is top tier, who is middle tier and who is bottom tier.
Top 5 and top 10...there may be a top 5 ish and a top 7-8 and then everyone else.

and then Mac Jones.

Mac Jones is not the worst QB in the NFL.
I don't know who is worse but this years draft should produce a few of them.....
