The NIT will use the FIBA 3-Point Line, the NBA FT lane, and other things.

UNCG Bracket

1- UNCG
8- Campbell

4- Davidson
5- Lipscomb

3- Georgetown
6- Harvard

2- NC State
7- Hofstra

Georgetown vs Harvard is a good one.

The CBI has been released. It's 4 rounds and after the Quarterfinals, they'll reshuffle the deck for their Final 4. I'll pair these games up by how they're currently bracketed.

GCU at West Virginia
Howard at Coastal Carolina

Stony Brook at South Florida
CSU Northridge at Utah Valley

Central Michigan at DePaul
Southern Miss at Longwood

Loyola Marymount at Cal Baptist
UAB at Brown

As always, the Championship Round will be the CBI Finals, best of 3.

Counting on the 5-12 jinx, aren't ya?

It's a de facto home game for the Ducks. Expect a pretty hostile crowd for Wisconsin. Vegas currently has Wisconsin as a VERY slight favorite. Don't be surprised if it goes to a pickem by tipoff.

Some CIT games have been announced including 1 for tomorrow night, but I'm waiting for the whole field to be finalized and presented by College Insider.

Wisconsin is the type of team that could lose to Oregon by 15 or beat Virginia and get to the final 4. Impossible to bet on.

Which tournament is considered better, CIT or CBI?

The CIT prefers mid-majors for theirs while the CBI will accept anyone from D1 willing to cut them a check. Both are pay-to-play and have their own appeal. The CBI could be more prestigious since they like to bring in major conference teams, but the CIT goes with the smaller D1 schools and all participants in their tourney must have winning records.

At last check, the CIT is at 18 teams, 12 of which have been paired up. I think they usually like to aim for 32, but ultimately settle for 20 or so. The tournament opener tomorrow night has NJIT hosting Quinnipiac.

The CIT also has trophy games at the start of their tournament, all of which are called "Classics." The John McClendon Classic, Hugh Durham Classic, Lou Henson Classic, Jim Phelan Classic, and Riley Wallace Classic. These games are normally 1st or 2nd Round and meant to honor the people they're named after.

Also, the CIT doesn't have a set bracket. They use the NIT's former format of "We'll figure this shit out as we go."

As the NCAA is fond of saying, "An ACC team is going to win this, or else!"

Fuck those Loyola pieces of shit.

Lesser Oregon teams have played much better Wisconsin teams close in the tournament in the last couple of years. Not sure if that will mean anything, but it's just an observation.

The 12 over 5 everyone likes best tends to lose. Give me Liberty as the 12 I like

If this game was across the country, I'd favor Wisconsin...as it stands its practically a home game for Oregon.

That, and Oregon has been playing much better than your average 12 seed lately, and Wisconsin isnt healthy

Are you referring to Happ's boot? He's been limping around for 2 months with a sore foot.

Green Bay just accepted a bid to play in the CIT in the last 10 minutes. They might not get this shit finalized until 5 in the morning.
