Man how lucky are the Panthers that we missed the FG and didn't kick earlier? One TD and we'd win this. I am hardly impressed by the Panthers in how they've responded. My money is on AZ or SEA (MAYBE?) at this point.

I've ALWAYS been under the philosophy that you take your points (unless it's the end of the game and NO option). Always take your points. Get those 3 points... they can easily mean the game at the end (partly because you may have to call plays you don't want to or in the instance of games like these run out of time).

On the ensuing defensive stand, IMO just blitz. Just send the house. If Carolina does another annoying 4-5 minute drive with Cam 'Captain Checkdown Doing My Brady Impression' Newton going to work, we just lose outright.

Least if we miss the blitz and they get the gain we went out fighting.
