Our defense is bad.. Especially our DL..

Issue is Shamar Stephen is absolutely awful at rushing the passer and playing the run. Jarran Reed hasn't been great at either despite his sack numbers. Frank Clark is a pass rushing specialist who cannot play the run, and the rotation we've used at the other edge rusher has not been effective at much.

The Seahawks defensive line occasionally generates pressure, but they get blown off the line in the run game. Every team we've played has gapping holes to run through. Seahawks are fortunate that we've had good linebacker play.

Well we all knew our DL was suspect this year, but not much we could do. We tried to resign Richardson and it sucks McDowell never even played a down.

Edit: Definitely seemed like a coverage sack there.

Did they actually get rid of the "landing on the QB" flag rule? Matthews clearly drove Wilson into the ground on that 3rd down play (didn't just fall on him, intentionally drove him into the ground).

Like... duh? The refs just baffle me these days. And that was another under throw by Wilson.

I still don't know what constitutes a "catch". On the replay, that really didn't seem like one, to me.

EDIT: Of course, it did look like moderate pass interference, which was the reason that it wasn't an easy catch, so maybe the refs tried a make-up call
