No threads started on this week's opponent yet? Anyway, the Niners have looked like crap lately but you know they're going to be pumped up for this game. Obviously a huge advantage to have this game at home but for some reason I think the Niners make this one closer than the last match up. Kaep couldn't complete a pass to save his live on Thanksgiving and there is no just way he's going to be THAT bad again. Is there?

49ers are a dangerous team.

Seahawks will be focused.

If no twilight zone plays happen, Hawks should win.

Snuggles is right, Kap is broken. Harbaugh is a lame duck. And the Seahawks are playing their best ball and they still want to embarrass these guys.

Niners still have a respectable defense though.... Can't take them lightly... Plus there is talent on the offensive side, but it just seem's like there totally out of sync right now... Most of that is on Kaep .... He's looked like he's in a fog lately...

Seahawks should beat em like a drum. The one but however, for Harbaugh and the 49ers players, this game is like the Superbowl for them, jobs are on the line. Still think we beat them and beat them bad.

Only thing I get superstitious about is football. Threads like this have a way of waking up the karma God's and making you pay for being cocky. I know it's in my head but talking too big before a game like this always makes me nervous. Now I have to ride my unicorn past the end of the rainbow to the 4 leaf clover field to nix any hexes.

It will take an epic collapse by our D to lose at home to a niners team that is deflated with a dead man walking coaching staff. Even before they lost the two previous games they were just eaking out wins against garbage teams AT HOME. I really dont see them coming to our house, when we are playing like the best team in the nfl, and winning.

Even so, I hope the fans will be in full throat. For us to go total retard and lose this game would be the same as them losing to the Raiders. We need to play like its the championship game last season. Leave everything on the field attitude and then it might be over by halftime. The Niner's still have a good team with a lot of pride and we can't give them even a glimmer of hope. It would make their season to totally screw ours up!

There is no hiding just how bad the 49ers have been playing, we all know this. I think they are more than capable of coming out of this funk though. Sure they are not the same team but they still have enough talent on that team to cause you a lot of problems if they are clicking. I think this game might be a lot closer than many of us like.

I feel the same way. The Niners still have a great defense so I really don't see a huge blowout like many are predicting. Probably going to be relatively low scoring again so any small mistake is going to matter. Like I said Santa Clara will come out ready to play, but there is no reason Seattle shouldn't win with the way the defense has been playing lately.

I get what some of you guys are saying about getting ahead of ourselves, but even niner fans wouldn't buy any stock in this game in favor of their team. They can't run the ball like they have before, and Kaep matches up with this defense about as poorly as any QB against any particular defense. Their defense is still playing relatively well, but they're working with a lot of backups. I dont think I'm being arragont, I'm being realistic, this should be an ass whipping. I'll take a one point win, but I expect it to be much more convincing than that.

If the Hawks let them hang around, then it could be interesting in the end, but if the Hawks can get an early lead, I have a feeling the 49ers will wave the white flag.

Been to every 9er game in Seattle since the rivalry started but I don't think I'll be at Sunday's game sadly. The 48-13 and 29-3 games were just outstanding, then the NFCC game for the icing on the cake.

It'll be sad when the rivalry is over, but it's sure nice to have definitively won it.

As long as the defense stays disciplined and doesn't let Kaepernick find running lanes, they should be able to keep the Niners offense in-check. The 49ers only real threat on offense in the NFC Championship game last year was Kaepernick's ability to run the ball for decent chunks of yardage. The Hawks obviously won that game anyway, but I'd rather not see him rack up over 100 yards on the ground on Sunday. Keep the damage he does on the ground to a minimum and let the LOB go to work on him in the passing game.

I'm not even worried about this game. I was on the edge of my seat on Thanksgiving, but this week I'm not even sweating it.

I could be wrong though, but I don't feel it.
