Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa...
I honestly respect posts like this!! Take your position man and right or wrong, live with the results. (secretly we're all hoping that you're right!)Well a couple of weeks ago I laid out the scenario that if we beat Tampa we would be a game out. Didn't think they would actually do it, but here we are. It's Thanksgiving and we are a game out.
So I got one more for ya. Raiders beat the Cowboys Thursday and the Skins control their own destiny for the division title.
I know, I know, once again, just putting it out there.
Not to downplay the Heinicke competitive spirit or anything, but averaging 37 rushes, having an almost 2-1 edge in TOP, giving up only 6 of 19 3rd dn conv and allowing 40 points combined over the last 2 games. I'd opine are also pretty significant factors to the success of the last 2 weeks.Gibson needs to run like he did after his benching this week. We could use Thomas and Samuel back. The team at the very least is showing the Heineke competitive spirit.
Wha! No mention of Daryl Gardener circa 2002?Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa...
Chris Baker, (the Heinicke of the DL back then) Coy Bacon, Daryl Grant, Diron Talbert, Ron McDole, and prior to being injured Matt Ioannidis.
Naw, you're right!!
Good memories though!
You know how it works Breed, QBs get too much credit and too much blame. All works hand in hand as I mentioned in another thread ... football 101. Teams win, not individuals. It is good to see how all of those parts worked last week and I hope work again Monday. Not to downplay the Heinicke competitive spirit or anything, but averaging 37 rushes, having an almost 2-1 edge in TOP, giving up only 6 of 19 3rd dn conv and allowing 40 points combined over the last 2 games.
