I'm talking in a vacuum of TODAY only. Agree with all the other qualifiers.
In a vacuum ignored the team they are on, to win a game tomorrow, yes. Wilson is third of that group.

Only the highest QB Rating in NFL history
and the most wins in the first two years in NFL history
and the 6th highest completion percentage ever
and the 3rd highest yards per attempt in NFL history.
Yep, he's completely average.
Really? Wilson's QB Rating on the year (108) is higher than Andrew Luck's for any game since Week 1! At least last year, Luck had more raw numbers. Even that's not true this year. Wilson has more passing yards in the first three quarters and only has less overall because of garbage time.
And even more shockingly, he did it without his two tackles. He did it as the second most hurried QB in the league. He did it with a #1 receiver who entered the year with 1 career 100 yard game.
Wilson's #7 in completion percentage. Luck is #31.
Wilson's #3 in YPA. Luck is #29.
Wilson is #6 in TDs. Luck is #16.
Wilson is #1 in fewest INTs amongst guys with 10 starts. This is Luck's best stat, but he is still #5.
Wilson is #3 in QB Rating. Luck is #26.
Wilson is #3 in QB rushing yards. Luck is #8.
Wilson is #1 in Wins. Luck is #7.
And again, he has done this with a worse supporting cast. Saying you'd pick Luck over Wilson looked stupid when they were in college. At this point, it is so futile it is like arguing Sam Bowie was better than Jordan. It's unspeakably one-sided.
Wilson has really impressed me this year. lets just see how he can do down the stretch in the playoffs. playoff games are totally different then regular season games
Sorry, he's #2. Rodgers is #1. That completely proves he isn't elite.
When that play will forever be known as the "Fail Mary" to everyone that follows football and Seattle fans are still denying the push off by Golden Tate all you have to do is LOL.
Russell Wilson has never beat Aaron Rodgers.
All I'll say is that if Luck plays for Seattle, I believe he'll put up similar numbers if not better as a passer. So I won't argue what you've put up as I already showed my support for Wilson in this thread as he is a QB for my team. It also showed that as it stands RIGHT NOW, Wilson is the best young QB of his class.
Would I trade Wilson for Luck? HELL NO. I love my QB! All I'm saying is that I won't pass on Luck or even RG3 for that matter.
BTW, this is probably the only time I'll respond to anything that has ESPN QBR in it, the stat is a complete joke.

The push off happened. The catch was Tate's and it was not disputable in any way.
You realize you are describing a touchdown, right?
1. I didn't use QBR. I used passer rating. Wilson's QBR isn't that high because the stat penalizes QB's for getting sacked (as if its their fault for having an awful line).
2. In 2011, I heard the potential thing all the time. It was, "Sure, Wilson might have put up the highest passer rating in NCAA history, but Luck has more potential and will dominate him when they get to the pros."
And yet, Luck didn't. Because for all the talk, Luck does NOTHING better than Wilson. Wilson's decision making is better. He is a better leader. He sees the field better. He is more mobile. He is more elusive. He throws a better deep ball. He throws a better short ball. He is physically stronger. His passes are more accurate. He throws a more catchable ball. He takes less risks. And he wins more.
Again, passing on Wilson for Luck is so incomprehensibly stupid that I don't know where to begin. Wilson is better right now. Just like he was better in 2011. And they've never really been close either. At some point, people need to realize Russell isn't a fluke and Andrew Luck isn't gonna walk on water next week,
Maybe, just maybe, Russell is the more talented QB and will always be the more talented QB.
Tate shouldn't even be in that position in the first place if offensive pass interference is called. Plus he didn't have full possession of the ball going down. 2 missed calls by the refs on the same play.
You sure about that? Sure looks like Jennings had the ball first and has more of the ball than Tate when going to the ground.
