Every time two big name QBs go head to head the media touts it as "Brady vs Manning" or "Brees vs Rodgers" etc... They compare records head to head all the time. It got me thinking about Russell Wilson's personal list of QB's he's "defeated" head to head. Of course QB's never actually go head to head but it always get sold that way.

Here is Russell Wilson's list to date of top QB's he's faced. **NOTE** I'm not including guys like Fitzpatrick or Ponder/Cassell types. Only top tier (or perceived top tier) QB's

His list:

  • Tony Romo
  • Cam Newton x2
  • Collin Kaepernick x2
  • Aaron Rodgers
  • Tom Brady
  • Drew Brees
  • Matt Ryan
  • RGIII
  • Jay Cutler
  • Matt Shaub
A couple losses to some good QB's include:

  • Andrew Luck
  • Matt Ryan
  • Matthew Stafford
  • Ryan Tannehill
  • Alex Smith
Not bad for a guy who's only played 39 pro games.

He get's a chance to put Eli Manning on his list as well this year.

You might want to edit that again and put an asterisk by Aaron Rodgers' names.

What's funny is every time this game gets brought up by Packers fans, Seattle fans give the same response. They never say "the right call was made" or anything like that. They merely ask if we are still butt hurt over it. Speaks volumes that even Seahawks fans know we got screwed in that game.

The call was good.

And no packer fans can admit there were bad calls that cost both teams in that game. No matter what you think of the 'fail mary' the last scoring drive of GB's was a pure gift by those same idiot refs. I love that the few who do admit there were bad calls on that drive say only the last bad calls mean anything and therefor they were still screwed. :L Asking if you are still butt hurt seems to fit.

Notice all a Seahawk fan did was put up a list of QB's that Wilson has a win against and one with a loss. No commentary, just a factual list. And yet here we are again.

Go look up the stats from that game and see what is listed and then tell us what is wrong with his list. Right, nothing but butt hurt to see here folks. Move along...

What's really funny is the GB fans conveniently forget that their only TD drive was extended by a bogus PI call on Kam Chancellor on third down. If the refs don't make that call then the fail mary probably never happens. As it stands, the refs just evened the score.

The right call was made. If they called it the other way and didn't overturn it the ref should have been fired.

:agree:

Plus the bogus respot of the ball inside the 2 when they were going to end up going for a FG that let them get a TD instead. But why confuse them with the facts? They are NEVER going to let that go. :laugh3:

Simultaneous catch goes to the receiver. End of story.

It was not simultaneous. It was a Seattle catch straight up. Tate caught it, then the defender touched it and tried unsuccessfully to take it away.

Don't tell that to me... tell it to the Packers. ;)

Here's an interesting angle of the "catch". M.D. Jennings has both hands on it while pulling it into his chest. Tate might have his left hand on it at this point, but hard to tell. Replays show that Tate's right hand never actually touched the ball till they were going to the ground.

Oh yea, and let's not forget why Sam Shields is laying on the ground.

Two hands are not required for a catch. Tate got a hand on it first and the ball never once moves relative to his hand. If he slips half an inch you have a case the catch was not complete yet, but from the second it hits his hand first it never moves once.

JDM I must say you surprise me. I never would of guess you would defend that call. Kudos. However I really wish that call and that game would just be forgotten. It was just one call, out of a million calls that fans could bitch about and at the end of the season it didn't have a impact on the playoffs. I suspect, I'll still hear about that call years from now.

Remember when GB fans had a team playing well enough that they talked about that year instead of phantom crap from prior years? Those were the days....

Tony Romo - Wilson is just as good as

Cam Newton x2 - Cam is better

Collin Kaepernick x2 - Wilson is better than

Aaron Rodgers - no, until AR gets a new commercial

Tom Brady - no, until Tom gets divorced

Drew Brees - no, until Brees gets skin cancer

Matt Ryan- better than

RGIII - RG still better but getting closer

Jay Cutler - better than
