Oh God no. Don't trade Pierce or KG within the division and that return isn't great considering the Nets will probably be good for a few years.

who cares? KG and pierce have at most 2 years left before they're completely finished...the C's have zero expectations of being competitive before then...

Trade them to the heat if they offer you a better package...who cares? It's all about building for 3 + years down the road...

Anyone notice that Cano's slump started around the time the whole Biogenesis thing broke? Yeah, I did too.

Do you think he comes back next year? I say he's gone, especially if they finish lower than second. Worrld called me a harlot for suggesting it, and said I shouldn't besmirch a true yankee's honor like that, cause Dirt wouldn't like it.

If the Yankees made the postseason, is there any question it's the best year of his career?

So I can't imagine he doesn't get one pass in his career if they do fall short, I don't think he's really been given too many passes

Totally agree

3 first rounders for a rebuilding team?

In a heartbeat

By time the Celtics are truly ready to compete again, Garnett and Pierce will be long gone anyway

Celtics have a chance to trade these two washed up guys for 3 1st rounders?

Do it

Certainly aren't centerpieces any more, but hardly washed up. Both had numbers last season fairly consistent with the last 3 -4 years. Maybe I'm wrong about this but draft picks after 15 really seem to be a crap shoot.

I guess it's certainly better than letting them walk after their contracts are over.

Best year of his career, just for making playoffs in a horrible division?

He's screwed.

And he' been God awful

That's all Dirt said

Only in the 2nd start...

His 1st start was very good...2nd? A complete and total disaster...that last time out? 1st inning jitters coupled with some bad luck ground balls coupled with V-Mart blasting him...

After that? he actually settled down and pitched pretty well...well enough that I'd like to see him take another turn in the rotation...

he's young dirt...right now? I'm paying more attention to stuff, than results..the kid has MLB stuff...zero doubt...he can be erratic...but name me the 23 year old starter that doesn't apply to...

people love to bail on prospects way too early...they expect a guy to get promoted and perform like a 30 year old in his prime...it doesn't happen that way 99 times out of a 100...and every single player currently in the majors...was once a "prospect"...

Is the NBA still nationally televised?

Cmon, have you looked at this roster?

As much as I would have hated it, if they were 15 out and 15 under, it couldn't be too shocking

Seeing Paul Pierce in another jersey, especially a jersey from that shit hole Brooklyn, would really bum me out. Kinda like seeing Jeter in a Sox jersey would be for Yankee fans. Except Pierce would actually be helping his new team.

A case can be made with a healthy Rondo, they could still be in that 4th-6th seed spot

You're going to see him in a different uni regardless.

Think of it this way...you may be able to help a team knock out the heat and fuck lebron up....silver linings.

:laugh3:

Murphy gets thrown out when Profar walks. Umps bending over backwards to help the Yankees.

The lack of loyalty in Boston must keep you up at night

These guys just love coming to play in my glorious city
