this lack of RBI potential at so many positions makes me think even harder that the Rangers are not sold on the idea of Gallo being at 3rd.

The Blue Jays have shown interest in bringing back outfielder Alex Rios, currently with the Rangers, reports Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com. Toronto shed Rios and his big contract by declining to revoke an August waiver claim back in 2009, but the veteran has turned things around and now comes with only a $14MM team option left for 2015. Of course, there remains some doubt as to whether the Jays would be able to take on the remainder of Rios’s $12.5MM salary for the current season.


They have some good young arms.

They are probably saying worse. Texas has the worst record in baseball. This game looks worse on their team than it does Texas.

Hererra won't hit much better at the ML level, offensively they are similar players, don't get too hung up on that .348 against inferior pitching

He's a non prospect that's having a nice season average wise and that's about it

Don't get me wrong that's not a built in excuse for EA. He absolutely needs to develop his offensive game. He needs to be a table setter for the 3-4-5 guys.

There's not too much to write home about these days but I like the stuff Mendez and Mikolas has. Hopefully the Maddux brothers can coach them up.

Btw, Mac is awful and exposes Buzz more than ever now that at Tom is on another hiatus.
