Series Thread: Rangers Travel to Play the Twins For Three Games June 10-12

i'm sorry but starting pitching is a problem at least for this weekend. deGrom i slated to start on Saturday and Mahle's start has been moved to Tuesday (Mondy is a day off). we have an open spot on the 26 so we can promote someone to start either tonight or Sunday but are er going to have a bullpen game on the other?

Was not talking about this weekend but across the board for rest of the season.

i know but i want to continue what's going on and it comes down to a combination of very good pitching and good hitting. apparently, we are going into a 3-game series with only one good pitcher and a somewhat questionable bullpen. and an offense that has a history of going to sleep the 1st series back in Arlington

You know both pitchers are coming off injuries and they have to be careful with them. Extra day of rest is not going to hurt.

i have no problem with that. I'm talking about who's going to start tonight and Sunday. our present rotation is (Blank), Mahle, Leiter, Corbin, Degrom & (Blank). they have moved deGrom to Saturday and Mahle to Tuesday with Monday a normally scheduled day off. someone mentioned starting Dunning on one of those days but the Rangers would have to DFA someone to clear a 40-man spot for him but we do have Rocker and Garabito already on the 40 so we could use 1 of them for one of these 2 days and Latz did a good job on the bullpen game, and we could start him on Sunday but according to stories they're not sure he could be ready by then

There is a young relief pitcher that i saw pitch lady night in the A's system that I wouldn't mind the Rangers acquiring in a trade. His name is Wander Guante. His numbers this year are not great, but he is trending well for the last three or four weeks. He looked great last night against a lineup that put up 7 runs against all the other pitchers in the other 7 innings.

Rocker can pitch on Sunday because he pitched on the 10th at RR giving up 1 run in 4 innings, Armstrong is going to be tonight's starter he's spot started in the past about 20 times or so...
