another sign of an uptick for this team comes tomorrow at home. this team seems to go to sleep offensive when they return home. and the other problem is we only know who starting Saturday (deGrom) both the Friday and Sunday games are Starters to be determined

Pitching is not a concern. Until the offense produces more runs on a steady keel then they have not turned around.

We did score 11 and 8 against the Cardinals and have won 3 of the last 4 series. So hoping we keep going in the right direction.

I’m not ready to say the offense is back. But I’m encouraged by their last 5 games.

The Rangers drafted David Hagaman last year in the 4th round, even though he had just had the internal brace surgery for a partially torn UCL. He has made two short starts for the Rangers ACL club. He has gone a total of 4 innings, just giving up 1 hit while striking out 7 and walking no one. Maybe their gamble will pay off.

Brock Porter pitched for Hickory tonight and completed 3 innings. That is his longest outing of the year. He allowed no runs on one hit and one walk, while striking out two.

i'm sorry but starting pitching is a problem at least for this weekend. deGrom i slated to start on Saturday and Mahle's start has been moved to Tuesday (Mondy is a day off). we have an open spot on the 26 so we can promote someone to start either tonight or Sunday but are er going to have a bullpen game on the other?
