We can't trade for him. He's not on a team.

We can draft him though... which is why getting the first pick next year could be huge. HUGE. Not just a typical first overall pick. Its hard to pan out mlb draft picks, but we can only go with what we got and what the experts say. Next clayton kershaw is the ceiling, probably around david price is an average bet, YOU GOTTA GET THAT BOY

Yeah, thought it might not be possible to trade for him... nice to know we may get a shot at him in the draft though. I sort of thought he was just in limbo with the stros right now. Thanks for explaining. Haven't had time lately to keep up with much sports.

Make no mistake: Neftali Feliz is once again the Texas Rangers closer.

On Derek Holland:

Ron Washington: "He is still down there working. He isn't ready to come here yet. Derek will let us know when that can happen. Right now, that's not happening."

On being careful with Holland:

Ron Washington: "No doubt about it. He had a serious injury. We certainly don't need to rush him and have a re-occurrence. Hopefully, we'll see him at some point this year. When? I can't tell you. Derek will tell us that by his performance and how he is doing down there. He is still on the radar and if he doesn't get here until next year, we aren't going to be concerned about it. Our concern is that Derek is fully healthy."

Even if he did sign with the Astros........ you cant trade for him until after the draft next year anyways. (I believe that's the timeline)
