F the Houston Astros
If that dude expects a 60 million dollar deal he better be ready to step in and be a #2.
Yeah he better have TORP stuff and have considerable experience

I heard Cuba is hard on Pitchers but not sure
I won't be broken hearted if we don't sign him. At that price tag he's quite a risk.

Leonys Martin played with Puig, maybe he played with Gonzales. Maybe that will help, but $60 mill, no.
Matt Garza and Zack Greinke: a Trade Deadline Comparison - Beyond the Box Score
Great article here comparing the Garza eventual trade to the Greinke trade from a year ago. Saying Greinke is a better pitcher practically across the board and that the Cubs shouldn't get anything like what the Brewers got for Greinke. Zack's one of my favorite pitchers, so even though I was very bummed out we didn't get him, the fact that the angels gave up their future at short stop was a good trade off. Anyway's back to the point, does anyone have a comparable trade that the rangers could make that isn't as good as what the angels traded last year, but should be good enough for the cubs?
@espn_durrett: #Rangers Colby Lewis line: 2.2 IP, 4H, 4ER, 1BB, 1K, 45 pitches (27 strikes).
Main thing to me is the 45 pitches. He still has to get his arm strength back. But if he feels good and is ready for another start that will be a great sign.
That's what I'm saying. I want to see him feeling good after his outings and his velocity up around 89-90. The rest will work itself out.
All the people swearing he'd be back in may/June, I tried to tell you but y'all didn't want to listen.
He hit 88 and gave up a 2 run homer on his 45th pitch. Lewis said he feels he will be pitching for the Rangers in a few weeks.
Those stats don't jump out at me but at 26 he may be a much better pitcher now. Scouts will know best.
