Self-proclaimed Asshole
Anyone on Danks? Pitching tonight, will pay attention.
Nope. Dude is a home run machine this year.

I'll take Aoki, he's cheap, and very productive in every aspect of the game. Only three players managed to hit at least 10 home runs, steal 30 bases, and have an OBP of .350 or more last year: Braun, Mike Trout and Aoki. Not interested in Gallardo but depending on the cost of these two, he would be an upgrade over the rookies. Ogando is getting knocked around in his rehab starts, which makes a mediocre pitcher like Gallardo look more and more appealing.
Ogando got knocked around in his first inning last night and then pitched 3 scoreless innings. His velocity was there, but not his location. They should give him 2 more starts and then bring him up unless he dominates for 6 innings in his next start.
That was the second start he has gotten knocked around down there, pretty sure he gave up 4-5 earned last week in just a few innings. He needs to stay down there until he can locate the fastball
btw... id prefer to get a pitcher we control past this season. Pitchers arent gonna sign with us, pretty simple deal. We need to get someone controllable for 2 1/2 seasons

Good luck with that, those don't really exist besides Cliff Lee, and fuck Cliff Lee
Why??
I would welcome cliff lee back here with open arms and if you wouldnt you are absolutely insane. He's controllable and they would have to be willing to eat at least part of the salary he has left
He's better than Garza. Garza has thrown pretty well this year but if you look at history there is no comparison
the Cubs' Matt Garza currently pitches in the National League, Bruce Levine of ESPNChicago.com says that he could soon return to the AL. Levine reports that the Rangers and Blue Jays are the "front runners" in acquiring Garza's services for the balance of 2013. Though the Rangers have frequently been mentioned as pursuers of Garza, who figures to be the top starter available, the Jays have generally not been placed atop the list. Nevertheless, Levine says that Toronto has been very active in scouting the righty over his last three starts. As for Texas, Levine says that power-hitting prospect Mike Olt would probably be included in a deal.
I seriously wonder if Garza would resign with us.
