Garcia looks like a keeper and he’s under contract for another 5-6 years. So at least this season accomplished something already.

We have but we have a long way to go. Hopefully we now have a GM who has a better vision than the previous. Many questions unanswered at this point but 2022 will start to reveal the future and we hit the trail running 2023.
P.S. Get you a good TV provider.

I really wonder where we are in our re-build.
I think we still have some tearing down to do in parts of the building, but some of the new building is starting to rise from the foundation. I still think, between our current rotation and our current starting lineup, that we only have 2 or 3 guys that will still be in place in 2024. Most likely Garcia and Dunning with a possibility of Calhoun and/or Lowe. I think there is a good chance that one or two others could still be here as bench players.

We have some young guys who will be drafted in about 6 weeks that may be on that 2024 club and some in our system already. I do think we will have to sign 2 or 3 good to great free agents for either the rotation or the lineup. We will probably have to trade for an ace.

The team will be a lot better by 2023 most likely and probably noticeably better even next year. I think 2024 is the earliest we can get back to that 2010 level, but it could happen a year earlier if everything comes together.

That is pretty much how I see things. 2022 will start to shed some light on things.

Scared me for a minute. Hope it happens. Gallo does not need the Yankee short field. He needs to hit. The rest will take care of it's self including upper deck.

I can't see any team giving up much for him at this point.

At this point I'd consider throwing him in the leadoff spot, he gets on base enough, more than Calhoun or IKF (.359 to .329/.324) even with a batting average that's lower (.210 to .262/.286), might actually see better pitches to hit if people are afraid of putting him on in front of the other guys

Unique and 'out-of-the-box' thinking which this team needs a shot in the arm of, IMO.......And DT, what did you mean by "Neither do I but after the Odor deal, who knows?"

If NY would take Odor why would they not take Gallo. No big deal. Was surprised they took Odor.

Adolis better stop chasing those high ones, or else the league will adjust him back to obscurity.

It will continue to get worse........for awhile and not much on the way for help for the offense. Any pitching help couldn't here soon enough either.

The late west coast games do not get much attention and rightfully so.
