No More "Bullpen Failure"
So glad he is better. What a blessing.

They may trust Josh Smith and Duran at 1B more than Garver.Maybe you do DFA Miller but maybe Garver is back up 1B. Yeah Otto will need some rehab but maybe they delay the 60 man move out until he is ready to go. I have no clue about Howard
Have to think a guy like King is expendable
3:05 start time. I will be at the game. We are going against probably their best pitcher tomorrow.See ya'll tomorrow night same station same time.

They found an issue with his release point and seems like they got it fixed, looks like he's back on track...He was much sharper tonight.
Otto might be needed up here eventually either as a starter or reliever, but I would imagine he will need some time in the minors to get ready for either role.
I liked his last 12 starts last year. He seemed to pitch just fine as a starter then.He was originally a reliever when he was drafted by the Yankees and turned into a starter. Long reliever might just be the ticket with him for awhile until he develops 4 reliable pitches...
I just don’t see where you draw that assumption. They may trust Josh Smith and Duran at 1B more than Garver.
Some would trade anyone because they don’t like them
According to Emily Perez said he saw something on the tapes and he fixed it himselfThey found an issue with his release point and seems like they got it fixed, looks like he's back on track...
neither has ever played 1BThey may trust Josh Smith and Duran at 1B more than Garver.
Both were mentioned to be working at 1B in ST.neither has ever played 1B
Exactly. My comment was not meant as an endorsement of those two playing 1B. It was meant as an indictment on Garver being the primary backup at 1B.neither has ever played 1B
I know but “working at in ST” isn’t game time experience if they are going to be used at 1B then they need playing time in the minorsBoth were mentioned to be working at 1B in ST.
They aren't going to be used there. I never said they were. At least not any time soon.I know but “working at in ST” isn’t game time experience if they are going to be used at 1B then they need playing time in the minors
Garner will never be anything but backup with Lowe getting 95+%of the playing time. That’s around 153 games. I don’t think the Rangers are spending too much time worrying about 1B. The bullpen holds down the top 10 spots on their list of worriesExactly. My comment was not meant as an endorsement of those two playing 1B.
