Nice outing for Perez. Glad he has righted his ship. I think it was Jeff Wilson who mentioned that of all the pitchers, Perez probably benefited the most from the extra day of rest the Bradford start gave everyone. He mentioned Perez pitching in the WBC as the reason.

He was much sharper tonight.

It’s hard to see what they see in him. He gets rocked almost every time he goes out there. Having start games and only pitching an inning or two, helped to overwork the bullpen last season. It seems they don’t want to accept that they made a mistake trading for him.

It’s hard to see what they see in him. He gets rocked almost every time he goes out there. Having start games and only pitching an inning or two, helped to overwork the bullpen last season. It seems they don’t want to accept that they made a mistake trading for him.

It is hard to see but it is also hard me to think that pride would be a hindrance with a new regime.
But just like Cole have to think this year is his last chance. We can’t have pitchers on the roster who can’t pitch or can’t pitch soon in the MLB level

I think we DFA Howard. They could also DFA Miller and bring up Huff to backup 1B. That solves the 40 man problem. Then they can sign Howard to a minor league deal if they still want him.

The goal is this case is to clear a 40 man spot for Otto. Miller makes sense in that regard.

Maybe you do DFA Miller but maybe Garver is back up 1B. Yeah Otto will need some rehab but maybe they delay the 60 man move out until he is ready to go. I have no clue about Howard

Have to think a guy like King is expendable
