From Michael Bier:

Rangers SP have allowed 3 runs or less in 19 consecutive games. That's a franchise record, per Rangers PR.

The team is 9-10 in those games.

Colorado is so awful this year and cannot have a lottery pick. Maybe the Rangers will luck out and get another very high pick in next year's lottery.

Doesn't say much for the offense.
i will empathically state that i've watched or listened to Rangers game literally since their first game and the game last night ranks as one of the worst in team history. heads need to roll starting with players and beyond

One hit. On a bullpen day for the opponent. This has got to be rock bottom. Right? Worst Ranger offense of all time and now approaching the bottom 10 worst offenses in the last 50 years of mlb.

And here's the worst part: nothing is likely going to change. You can't revamp an entire offense in one season. Big changes will come in the off-season. But too late to save the amazing SP we've been getting. Such a shame.

They should do whatever it takes to get rid of Garcia and Semien.

I agree. They are a drag on the team.
i definitely believe they need reduced playing time. To what degree I don’t know. You can argue these 2 guys have single handedly knocked us out of playoff contention with their extremely dismal offensive output. This also includes with RISP.

I hope something happens soon because we’re running out of time for this season. It feels like it’s too late because so many guys are not hitting.

For me it’s not only the players. It’s the mgr waiting too long to drop under performers down the lineup. The GM signing bargain basement relievers like Jacob Webb. My buddy is a Oriole fan and he told me Webb will get under your skin with too many walks. I looked up his stats from last year and era was not bad at 3.02 but low and behold he had 27 walks in 56 IP. That’s just not acceptable and CY should have seen this. Oh but I get it now Webb only cost 1,250,000 for his services.
This is just one example

From Tepid:

Kumar Rocker cruised through 4 perfect innings for Round Rock. Came out for the 5th to pitch out of the stretch and walked the last batter he faced. FB sat 96-98, breaking ball was biting. 53 pitches: 1 CH, 29 FB, 23 breaking balls.
