I wasn't initially excited about picking up Jackson but he pitched well in ST with good control. So I will be patient and see if that was a hiccup.

The problem is when he came to pitch in spring training it was against AAA, AA and sometimes A hitters.

I was impressed with the pitchers Boston put out there yesterday. Martin pitched very well. But Garcia and Jackson did not have any command of their pitches. And someone like Jackson who is not really a high velocity pitcher that has to happen.

I kind of like the guy myself. I was talking to a guy from Toronto who said that Pillar was his favorite player because he would just practically kill himself trying to make a play in the outfield. And meeting him in person he was a really nice guy and really wanted to play for the Rangers.
