Don’t think they can. This is what happens when you spend your money on starters and nothing on the bullpen.

Sodas was hitting 94 last night and got through his inning fine. I did not see Kelly since last year but was a little wild. They needs to be taken care of

Bullpen has got to get their $h!t together

The front office needs to get their’s together and put a bullpen together that loses at least 4 of these worthless units

Ezequiel Duran has more HBPs than walks (4-2). I wonder how many times that's happened in a full season, guessing most would have been in the deadball era

So obviously the club is defective with obvious pen deficiencies.
However in the last 2 years the Rangers have made dramatic progress and ownership has shown a willingness to spend. Our farm is overall better but ready made pitching has not improved as March as liked minus latest draft.

Point is the team is not done making moves. They are not going to overpay immediately but wait until the break to add. And even if it is not enough we will still have meaningful baseball heading into the end of season and address again come offseason

In the meanwhile we will have to suffer a bit from these late inning meltdowns

One thing still of concern is no proof of knowing how to develop pitchers in the upper minor league level

To me Cole Winn and AKelly are a disappointment so far.
These guys come in underdeveloped, wild and no bulldog mentality

I liked guys like Lance Lynn who came in and let it fly daring you to hit my best. Of course center cut balls down Broadway will still get crushed but I still see tentativeness

I'll never understand the Moore non-move. No one on God's green Earth could have predicted that the bullpen would be the only thing keeping the Rangers from the best record in baseball, but still... that one seemed like such a no brainer.

Right. I thought additions to the pen would give us a chance for a wildcard, not a division title. Nevertheless, they were needed in a bad way.

Yes I wanted those two and most of us knew it was needed. Bet we get there but yeah hate to let something go to waste

Food for thought but still not good enough.
The ones that frustrate me most are LeClerc and Hernandez. Hearn did as well but I am ok if they think he has his head right. He has a good arm

A closer and an 8th inning guy would be fine with me. Burke can still be our long guy with a lead
