Romo is more than good enough to win a Super Bowl. Give him the OL and running game and defense SF had last year and the Niners blow the doors off the Ravens. His problem is that his owner GM oversaw one of the 5 greatest OL's in the history of the game and still doesnt understand the value of protecting his QB. Drafted a starting center in the 1st round this year, and instead of adding a Warford in the 2nd and a Barrett Jones in the 3rd, he went TE/WR. Why ask Why:gaah:

i dont want to hear this . this guy has had the best talent for a lot of years . they were favored for superbowls
before this string of 8-8's

they blew their best chance vs the giants a few years ago :lame:

Look Romo isn't the sole reason the Cowboys haven't won a Super Bowl. There are a lot of other problems on that team than just Romo. But he's not devoid of talent or has been devoid of being on good teams.

And Romo isn't a bad QB he's just in that good not great category of QBs.

Romo just never plays big when the team really needs him to play big. Most of the time when you need a big performance from him he either chokes it away at the end or just plays so so for the entire game.

Romo is a stat compiler. Puts up quality numbers in a pass happy system. But he makes way too many mistakes in crunch time. That's definitely something he deserves to take heat over.

Romo win a Superbowl? He's got to get there first. It won't happen with the players they have right now.

RG3 has a ways to go before he as good as Romo. He may get there in time, but not today. Whether or not he wins the Super Bowl will be about the OL and Defense they surround him with

Stats wise, Sure RG3 has a long way to go. But Jerry Jones would give up his left nut, Stephens right nut, and both of yours for a straight up trade RG3 for Romo. It took Romo 4 years on the bench to even sniff the starting roll. He is 32 years old now. RG3 came in as the starter, won rookie of the year and lead his team to the playoffs as a rookie. So its a serious stretch to say RG3 will get there in time to be as good as Romo. because fact is, he was better than Romo last year.

They wouldnt make that trade based on RG3's potential (IF he stays healthy) and age, but if you went strictly off who would give their team the better chance to win a Super Bowl next year, Romo is still the better QB. As for Jerry's Nuts, it's hard to have a young franchise guy if you never draft one. He got luck Sean Payton wanted Romo as a CFA, or the Cowboys would still be recycling Quincy Carter's and Drew Hensons

RG3 is better than Romo. Makes big plays but also minimizes mistakes. Romo compiles statistics in a pass happy scheme.

I suggest you swing over to any search engine grasshopper and type in 2013 QB rankings. You will find RG3 consistently ranked higher than Romo. And in most cases as a top ten QB This is in spite of the knee injury. Romo is considered top 15 only because of his stats.

Quarterbacks lose them.

Well then so can any one player. Perhaps is a DB can keep a guy from catching a ball on his helmet, or if another guys can hang onto a QB he is in the process of sacking, their team has a perfect season with a Super Bowl cherry on top?

Its interesting that you went to QB ratings as your indicator that RG3 is better than Romo. If thats the way you want to go, grasshopper, lol, use that same search engine to pull up not only 2013 ratings but ALL TIME QB ratings. If thats the tool you want to use, Romo is a first ballot Hall of Famer. Which is it Bro, you cant have it both ways?

Tony romo could win the next two Super Bowls and the hall of fame voters will laugh at him when his name comes up.

Ive got no bones to pick with Tony but Not one GM in the league would take Romo over Griffin IMO.

That's all I need to know

The QB gets more opportunities to do more damage than any other position. There's a reason being clutch there is more valuable than anywhere else.

Flacco was drafted in 2008. What are you talking about? Or was this just an excuse to post a Ravens' Super Bowl pic on the Skins' page?
I was gonna say something but I figured ignoring it was best.
