Would love if the Hawks get to face the Eagles. That gives me a slight chance to get playoff tickets:yes:

That would be sweet. Hope it works out for you.

The NYG don't scare me, but what does is the fact that the NYG were 9-7 (Division Champ)and 10-6 (Wild Card)in both recent years they won the SB. They got hot. They aren't hot now, but if they make the playoffs, they probably got hot. I would rather play Philly or WA.

Whichever team wins that division, if they're to do so with a .500 or better record, they're gonna have to get hot because that division looks bad enough that a 7-9 division champ looks more likely than an 8-8 or 9-7 division champ and even a 6-10 division champ is still a realistic possibility.

Having said that, if the Seahawks are to keep their grip on a playoff spot, they're going to have to stay hot themselves, so an NFC East team getting hot and winning their last 3 or 4 in a row might not be that much of an advantage.

Seattle won't under estimate any NFCE team below .500 and Division champs. Not too long ago we were that team so I expect PC to remind his guys to not take them for granted.

Seattle WINS 8-5
Minnesota loses 8-5
Atlanta loses 6-7
TB Loses 6-7

Looks a lot like Seattle is sitting pretty,
Minnesota is falling, but so is everyone else, and they are 2 up in the loss column.

Atlanta coach Quinn early COY Candidate at 5-0, but oooops.
TB is well TB. They suck
Minnesota will lose another or two, securing the #5 seed for Seattle, and possibly giving TB or Atl or possibly Philly or WA a chance.

Sucks losing Rawls, next man up.

Looking like a playoff berth can be wrapped up with a win and TB loss next week. I think we hold the tiebreak over ATL so not really worried about them at all.

Would be nice to have the 5 seed secured before the last weekend so we can rest guys if needed. I think that can happen if we win the next two and Minn loses once.

Decent spot to be in considering where things were at a few weeks ago

Down to 3rd, 4th, and 5th string RB's.

It has always been said by RW doubters that he is a product of Seattle's great D and Rushing Offense.

I have always contended that RW makes the rushing offense better, because of his threat to run and also his rushing yardage.

Now that Seattle is down to marginal bench warming RB's, we shall see if Seattle's Offense continues to roll, despite no dominant RB to lead the way.

Lead the way RW. What a fine start to a solid career.

Kaep riding the pine, RW looking just Fine.

TB loses and is most likely out.

NFC East now has a shot at the WC if Minnesota continues to fall. Naw......

#5 Seed looking pretty solid.

What's the scenario for us getting the 5th seed ? right now the clear front runners for the wild-card are Seattle and Minny ... unless Minny wins the division and the Pack lose some...

Well GB plays @ Raiders, @Cards, then Viks.
Minny plays Bears, Giants, @ Pack.

I haven't done all the research on Minn/GB tiebreaker, but many cases I did with Minn/GB tie at 10-6 or 11-5 with of course Minny beating GB in week 17, have Minny beating GB in the tie-breaker.

If GB somehow falls to the WC ( at either 11-5 or 10-6), then they have the tie-breaker over Seattle, which might push Seattle to the 6th Seed.

If GB beats out Minny for the NFCN, then Seattle is pretty much a lock for the #5 seed if Seattle finishes at 10-6 or better, because they both can't win out. A tie in week 17 GB/Minny would be unlikely.

Granted, if Seattle drops games, and finishes at 9-7, then ooooops, all guesses are off.

I don't think they will. They have their mojo back.

What are the chances the cards stumble against philly and gb? I have a guy feeling they lose both games.

Could possibly happen, both Philly and GB are playing good football. That time change to their game really helped the Cards out.

Well, Eagles couldn't help us out, so AZ wins the div and we are on track for #5. I think a trip to the nation's capitol is our future.

Getting #5 is no done deal. If Minny beats GB and they end with the same record then the Viks win the division and we drop to #6 because GB holds the tie breaker with us.

Since we hold the tie breaker with Minny we have to root for GB.
