Is anybody else just kinda hoping that the alleged victim has close relatives in organized crime? I'd love for Kane and his lawyer to have their "evidence bags" ripped open and deposited in uncomfortable locations.

Yeah, he's saying that the way he was told that she came to be in possession of the bag means he needs to step aside. He still thinks the bag is legit, evidence was tampered with and he believes the victim's story. He just can't stay involved in the case.
