In Beltre we trust.
Seager is still an asshole.
We're trying to win a pennant yes? Then what's the down side with letting this guy throw 84 pitches instead of 103? Don't get it. What's the most pitches he's ever thrown in his life in one season? It's probably getting close now. It's just my opinion, but I don't want this guy outta gas in mid Sept, and maybe, just maybe, here's a chance to take part of the afternoon off and mean nothing, other than he gets to throw fewer pitches.
And consistent too.Seager is still an asshole.
A no-hitter into the 4th.Listening to the radio sounded like a good play by Profar to get Perez out of the inning, a hard shot to Moreland and now 2 homers. Plus he has been falling behind. But sounded like he was sharp in the first few innings.

He threw 150+ innings between AAA and the bigs last year. He's fine.
OK........I just see no upside, and I don't see much similarity between innings in AAA, to pitching in the bigs against the bigs, and with a division (perhaps more) on the line. You're probably right. Like I said...."If it was me." I'd bet $10 he's coming back out. Potato's patato's perhaps. I just think it never hurts to rest a starter when given that opportunity.
How bout not taxing the bullpen down the stretch?
