Hank and Nasher are back today!
Nash is skating on a line with Staal and Stalberg. I like it. That's a big line.

Yeah, pretty horrible. Pens have kinda been treading water for a while. They look like a much better team under Sullivan who are on the cusp of figuring things out. Not saying cup contenders or anything, but they look like a much dangerous team this year than last year.

But with Malkin out, I'm not sure they have the time to gel before the playoffs. I mean, the fan in me will never root against them, and you "never know what can happen" but with Malkin out, you start to wonder whether it's not worth getting that protected first round pick...

They sure had good flow last night. They kept exploiting the open ice the Jackets let happen. So many high quality chances.

Was a weird hit that took Malkin out. I wonder if he broke his wrist or Radius. He just got rubbed out along the boards by Prout, but looked like he got his wrist/forearm right on the ridge above the boards before the glass. His had was between his hip and board, his elbow was between his ribs and glass. Terrible luck.

Get well, Geno!

I will never understand why Sportsnet continues to employ PJ Stock. The guy's an idiot, and that voice:gaah: like nails on a chalkboard.

I used to wonder why NHL teams employed him, now I wonder why the media does.

Ive seen a few peeps say pens should use the ltir and try to trade for hamhuis and vrbata in order to make the playoffs (theyd be ineligible for the playoffs).

/hamhuis isnt waiving but vrbata prob would happily waive to get an opportunity to raise his ufa stock

Is it wrong to feel that fans deserve a lot better than fucking Milbury? Today's pregame has been a clinic in long held grudges. He said he was "ecstatic" about Malkins injury because he wants the Flyers in the playoffs. He then referred to Lundqvist as a yeoman professional in reference to the net tantrum, but Fleury as immature for saying it was baby stuff. He continues to amaze me with this stuff. Please get someone mildly competent. Even Keith Jones, a Flyer through and through, is even in his national analysis...because he's a daggum professional.
