Luongo seems like a fit for the Isles, I believe his cap hit is more than his actual salary and they need a goaltender. Wouldn't shock me if Bryz headed to Russia.

lounogo can get a team to the playoffs for sure. but i really think teams will be waiting to see if the nucks buy him out. why give up a draft pick or prospect to get him and that insane contract? wait til he is bought out and try to get him at a cap friendly hit

also i believe if a team trades for a player with a long contract like that arent they on the hook if he retires early?

Lightning bought out Lecavalier who just became the best player available. 33 years old, has had trouble staying healthy the past 3 seasons, still putting up halfway decent numbers. I could see him heading home to Montreal.

I know there is almost no shot, but I always liked Vinny L. Not the same player he once was, but he could be that number 1 center for a few years and possibly be the center for Kovy.

I think he'd actually be a great fit on a line with Kovy. The guy can put the puck in the net and is a big body. A line of Horton-Zajac-Kovy is a big line, in a 7 games series they would be really tough for defenders to handle.

Horton wants 6/$36 apparently. I would definitely not take that over Clarkson. Clarkson is younger and doesn't have concussion/shoulder issues.
