They certainly need a SS, but we certainly need a good young arm too.

Well, this was before they traded for Adam Eaton. Post-trade, Trea Turner will be their full-time SS.

Dragmire is a minor league relief pitcher with bad numbers the past 2 seasons. Surely he is a candidate to get released once someone worthy of a 40 man roster spot becomes available.

I was wondering how that might have changed things. I guess due to Profar's shoulder Ian would have been moved back to 2B anyway and we would have had to watch Odor play well somewhere else after we traded him for not very much.

Where do you stand on the whole extend-or-trade Darvish debate?

Newy Scruggs: Why can't the Rangers just let Yu Darvish play out the season? There is no more motivated player than a player in a free agent season. Personally, I don't think Darvish will re-sign with Texas if he hits the open market. Darvish's injuries that last few seasons worry me and I would not invest in a long term contract with him.

Maybe Profar ia not jerked around by Wash, plays 2nd , Wash has hissy early because he can't play Face, Profar gets traded with Gallo for another top flight pitcher, we sign Abreu for 1st. No money for Choo we don't move Hendricks or CJW, we keep,prospects instead of trading for Hamels, We win 2 WS and JD is GM of all time and Bennie has converted to giddy JD love with a tattoo of him on his arm............sure wish Kinsler had thought tea first like Gomez........oh well. Could have been a parade or two and better flags and not debate about Baeball Town

I remember when the crowd stopped doing the "TEXAS - RANGERS" chant and switched it to "DEREK - HOLLAND". It was unreal.
