No More "Bullpen Failure"
Well, so much for Evan's Valentine's Day idea. Unless they are going to sit on this for a full week.
I'm still hoping the Rangers try Odor in left. I know some on here questioned his height. So I had to look it up. He is 5'11" according to several sources. In comparison DDJ is 5'9".
Choo is the question now as to how the OF lines out. We have a good option here.A few of us were hoping that, but I think we would have heard by now if they had broached the subject with Odor. This is the organization that was afraid to make either Soriano or Kinsler move to the OF so I never had much hope of that happening. They are probably afraid to force Choo to DH full time as well.
You have to compare that to all the other heights in baseball that are exaggerated though. He is MLB 5'11".I've gotten his autograph in person. If he's 5'11" then I'm 6'1" (I'm 5'11").
I didn't think he was that tall either. Thought him and DDJ were about the same height.I've gotten his autograph in person. If he's 5'11" then I'm 6'1" (I'm 5'11").
I think you will see Choo start in RF 80-90% of the time that he is in the lineup. Of course it may not be long before he goes on the DL again so that might open up a spot for awhile.Choo is the question now as to how the OF lines out.

I sure don't want to see Choo out there that much. I hold my breath every time a ball is it to right when he is out there.I think you will see Choo start in RF 80-90% of the time that he is in the lineup. Agree and that is why Odor stays at second. Maz and Rua are a better choice in LF. If Odor made the move it would force Choo to DH. Better to trade ProfarI think you will see Choo start in RF 80-90% of the time that he is in the lineup. That depends on what you could get for Profar versus what you could get for Odor.Agree and that is why Odor stays at second. Maz and Rua are a better choice in LF. If Odor made the move it would force Choo to DH. Better to trade Profar
Thats a different story. That depends on what you could get for Profar versus what you could get for Odor.
If we are 2-3 games out of the wildcard at deadline time do we become sellers, buyers or stand in the middle of the road and get hit by a Mack truck? Do we trade 2 or 3 of Gallo, Mendez, Taveras and Guzman to upgrade our current team or do we trade off veterans who could help another team to benefit our teams in 2018 and beyond.
The move is probably seen by most as making us more likely to be wildcard contenders so I think it is relevant.Dude we just signed Napoli. Let us enjoy that moment

Not saying it isn't relevant, I'm saying let's just take a minute to bask in the glow of the reunion with Napoli.
I enjoy have Nap back personally, but until we start having offseasons where we try to make our team the best in baseball instead of just building for a shot at the wildcard I can't get too excited. After the past 2 seasons even winning the division doesn't do much for me. Losing 6 straight in the playoffs does that to me.Not saying it isn't relevant, I'm saying let's just take a minute to bask in the glow of the reunion with Napoli.

They never will as long as we don't have any more money to spend than we have spent coupled with a constant trading off of young cheap talent to pursue making the playoffs as a goal. This plan isn't working and it hasn't in quite some time. That is, it isn't working if being the best team in baseball is your goal.Well this was never going to be that offseason. Those moves didn't exist.
