I would imagine Profar plays some OF and sits on the bench a lot. Rua sits even more than Profar.Hope Nap signs. Now what happens? Profar is still my biggest question. Maz will play but where depends on Choo. Then Rua is the next question.
I hate seeing guys like that on the bench. Hope Profar can be traded.I would imagine Profar plays some OF and sits on the bench a lot. Rua sits even more than Profar.
Rua sits even more than Profar.
Don't see any reason and I bet he won't be around much longerseriously what is the point of having Profar around
At this point about the only thing he gives us is a better option off of the bench than a guy like Rosales, Alberto or Hoying.seriously what is the point of having Profar around
What a waste. Time to go so he can have a career. At this point about the only thing he gives us is a better option off of the bench than a guy like Rosales, Alberto or Hoying.
This x 100. They need to make a decision on the guy one way or the other. Either give the guy a permanent position and play him 140-150 games a year, or trade him, let him pursue a career elsewhere, and get some value for him in return.seriously what is the point of having Profar around
I think we all can agree on that and JD sees it also imo so he may be gone before long. This x 100. They need to make a decision on the guy one way or the other. Either give the guy a permanent position and play him 140-150 games a year, or trade him, let him pursue a career elsewhere, and get some value for him in return.
There is literally no point in having him around as some kind of super utility guy that plays 2-3 times a week. That is wasting his value to the team (either as a player or a trade chip) and his career.
I was going to say that we could bring him back when he hits free agency, but we will still have a year left on the two albatross contracts that JD saddled us with a few years back when Profar becomes a free agent so so much for that idea. lolWhat a waste. Time to go so he can have a career.
I would have thought JD would have seen bringing back Mitch at what Mitch signed for. I would have also thought he could see that Cashner is not an answer. At this point I am not sure what JD is seeing.I think we all can agree on that and JD sees it also imo so he may be gone before long.
If we had kept Mitch,no matter the price,he was not going to help us as much as Nap at least on offense. And the Profar problem remains. As for Cashner, who knows.I would have thought JD would have seen bringing back Mitch at what Mitch signed for. I would have also thought he could see that Cashner is not an answer. At this point I am not sure what JD is seeing.
I think we will see Rua play against lefties and Profar play against righties in left field.Hope Nap signs. Now what happens? Profar is still my biggest question. Maz will play but where depends on Choo. Then Rua is the next question.
Maz will if Choo plays in RFI think we will see Rua play against lefties and Profar play against righties in left field.
Wheee. Welcome back Nap.
A few of us were hoping that, but I think we would have heard by now if they had broached the subject with Odor. This is the organization that was afraid to make either Soriano or Kinsler move to the OF so I never had much hope of that happening. They are probably afraid to force Choo to DH full time as well.I'm still hoping the Rangers try Odor in left. I know some on here questioned his height. So I had to look it up. He is 5'11" according to several sources. In comparison DDJ is 5'9".
