Yeah, same here. Thought he'd get $6-$9MM, not double digits. I can see him incrementally earning that salary if he can pitch to a 4 ERA or slightly lower somehow in the AL West.

I think the big part of the arbitration bumps is that the best players in MLB are younger than they used to be.

Yeah, I mean if that's the best offer he's got on the table 1) it's shocking 2) there should be 20 teams out there that can beat that.
