Huh. Surprising to hear. Dude did his job, and did it very well in both NY stints.
I know the issue with the postseason money left players salty
Yeah, I guess when you think about it, Yanks had a lot of young guys making the minimum or in the ballpark, and when you've got a millionaire telling you you should take a smaller share it would be irritating.
All I know is the guy got f*cking huge outs. I'm gonna miss him. Maybe we can pick him back up at the deadline again.
One of the best curveballs in the biz, and he backs that up with a sneaky fast fastball.
Yanks had one hell of a pitcher draft in '06
All turned out to be decent to really good MLB pitchers, and I think they're all still pitching. Not sure about Joba.
I can confirm Dirt is alive
good gamble for the Mets, they do need the CF depth.
hopefully he can finally start to make some contact at the major league level and show off that speed and power.
Mets keep making moves. I don't know if they're good moves but they're moves.
Broxton's glove is awesome and gives them another option in CF. He has intriguing offensive tools (power and speed) but strikes out at a historic rate and can't make any contact. I don't think they gave up too much (though I think Valerio is worth keeping an eye on, need to see how he does above the DSL though).

Brewers bolster lineup, reportedly agree to terms with Grandal
Can't believe it took this long for someone to sign him. He's been one of the best hitting catchers over the last 5 years and he's been top 3 in framing runs the last 4 seasons (9th in 2014).
Sox should’ve dumped 2 of the dead weight catchers and signed him
Really like this signing. I'm thinking Todd Frazier gets bumped or traded.
lol, Brodie Van Wagenen hooking up all his boys with jobs. This is going to turn out to be really genius or a real big dumpster fire.
My vote is for dumpster fire.
