I find it ridiculous that MLB pundits who keep changing the rules to speed up the game apparently look right at it and have no clue what they are talking about.

Pence batted just .226/.258/.332 with four home runs and 24 RBI over 248 plate appearances during his dreadful final season in San Francisco, but the veteran outfielder might have a decent shot at claiming an Opening Day roster spot with the Rangers this spring. Pence, a native of Arlington, Texas, will turn 36 years old in April.

Have to think something happens this week with these guys, not to mention Keuchel and Kimbrel.

MLB.com's Jesse Sanchez reports that Sergio Romo has agreed to a one-year, $2.5 million deal with the Marlins.
There are also some performance-based incentives built into the one-year deal. Romo earned 25 saves with the Rays in 2018 and could factor into the mix at closer with the rebuilding Marlins. He'll presumably battle Drew Steckenrider for the job this spring.
